Greetings from Fort Cody Trading Post

FORT CODY TRADING POST, West hi-way U.S. 30, North Platte, Nebraska.

Fort Cody, built of heavy logs with sentry towers is a replica of the fortifications of the 1860 to 1875 era--the days of Buffalo, Indians, and early settlers. A forty foot, giant mural, "The Life of Buffalo Bill", painted by the famous western artist, Gene McConnell, is on exhibition, free to the public, open seven days a week. North Platte is truly proud to be the home of the old Buffalo Bill ranch, now a Nebraska State Park.
