Greetings from Fort Cody Trading Post
FORT CODY TRADING POST, West hi-way U.S. 30, North Platte, Nebraska.
Fort Cody, built of heavy logs with sentry towers is a replica of the fortifications of the 1860 to 1875 era--the days of Buffalo, Indians, and early settlers. A forty foot, giant mural, "The Life of Buffalo Bill", painted by the famous western artist, Gene McConnell, is on exhibition, free to the public, open seven days a week. North Platte is truly proud to be the home of the old Buffalo Bill ranch, now a Nebraska State Park.

Burnished Pine Bedroom Furniture
"The Dreche*, Kneehole Desk, Spring Back Chair and Bunk Bed are Hand Burnished to highlight the soft, mellow, natural pine finish. …especially designed to meet your present day living space problem."
This postcard was sent in 1954 to advertise a furniture sale.
* I couldn't find a definition of dreche, but it must be what is usually called a dresser.
