This big sign at each approach to Woodstock, Illinois, reflects the community's confidence in citizens accepting responsibility. success in making Woodstock a SAFER CITY played an important role in Woodstock earning All-America City honors — one of 11 nationally-recognized cities in contest sponsored by the National Municipal League and Look magazine. This photo headed the illustrations used before the jury as Woodstock presented an eight-goal platform for community betterment.
