Imprinted on the back is a message about Hurricane Hazel, the most deadly and costly hurricane of the 1954 Atlantic hurricane season:
Dear Friend:
Yes, The Pink House, and we, personally, survived "Hazel" — barely scratched! Ocean Highway 17 is now open all the way and is the best way South. All services are again normal; and finest accommodations enroute.
We want you to come again, soon, and tell your friends to also.
