WAPAKONETA, OHIO
When Neil A Armstrong became the first civilian astronaut, the proud people of "Wapak" erected signs proclaiming the honor.
On July 20, 1969, at 10:56 P.M. E.D.T. Armstrong became the first man to step on the moon, yhud bringing further honors and fame to the small farm community and necessitating the addition to the sign.
