FLATHEAD LAKE — U. S. 93

As one approaches Polson from the South, this colorful signboard stops many travelers interested in the Flathead Lake area. This lake is one of the largest in the United States and offers the tourist the finest in fishing, camping, water skiing and swimming. Its facilities on both the west and east shores are among the best found anywhere and the lake is served by Highway 93 and 35. Kalispell and Polson lie at either end as well as the resort town of Big Fork.
