ROCHESTER'S ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PARADE

Rochester, Michigan

This annual parade begun in 1952 is billed as the 2nd largest Christmas parade in Michigan, and attracts parade units from far and wide. Upwards of 20,000 spectators line the streets to enjoy this annual event which has a different theme every year. Pictured is Santa Claus riding down Main Street past some of Rochester's historic buildings.

Happy New Year

Surprise, I am spending part of my vacation here. Saw M & R today, attended church with them. 

To-morrow is the big day.

The weather is quite nice, around 72.

When we left it was 12 below and lots of snow.
