California Indian Monument by Peter Toth


Sculptor Peter & Kathy Toth in front of California Indian Monument. Toth creates his gift of one monument in each of the 50 states to raise the nation's conscience to the plight of the Native Americans. Created from Giant Sequoia, it stands 43 feet high and 8 feet across at Cabot's Old Indian Pueblo Museum, Cole Eyraud, curator. Located 10 miles from Palm Springs in Desert Hot Springs. Dedication attended by Dennis Banks, May 20, 1978.

Travel – 1864


This beautiful mural decorates one entire wall in the reception room at The Travelers Home Office buildings. Twenty feet long and seven feet high, it is painted in oil on canvas by Frank J. Lefevre and accurately depicts typical modes of transportation in 1864 at the time The Travelers Insurance Company was organized.

Jesus Sand Sculpture


THIS STATUE OF JESUS IN GETHSEMANE IS A FINE LIFE-SIZE EXHIBITION of sand sculpturing by the famous artist, Ted Conibear. He has a technique all his own in packing any common sand with water and has created many outstanding biblical scenes throughout the Uniteed states and Canada in the past 30 years.
3 tons of sand were used in this statue. It is on display with the Last Supper, modeled in 20 tons of sand, and other bible scenes at Bible Land, Temecula, California, 40 miles south of Riverside on Highway 395.
