Teaberry Leaves


TEABERRY LEAVES grow in abundance at the high altitudes of The WONDERFUL MOUNTAIN EMPIRE OF SOUTHWESTERN VIRGINIA. They produce a tasty redberry which ripens in the fall. The little plant is used to flavor rare dishes and chewing gum.

Cook Forest State Park


BICYCLING and HORSEBACK RIDING are very popular with visitors at Cook Forest State Park on State Route 36 between Brookville and Tionesta, Pa. All roads in the park are available for bicycling while 5 miles of bridal trail as well as several forest roads provide enjoyable horseback riding.

In the fall all roads into Sugarcreek are filled for miles with cars as each Fall, the townfolk of Sugarcreek join with the Swiss cheese-makers of the vicinity in a two-day Festival that has attracted nationwide attention. Known as the Ohio Swiss Festival it features Swiss wrestling, Swiss yodeling, Swiss dancing and Swiss Foods — with the accent on Swiss cheese which is a major product of the community.
