NATCHEZ TRACE PARKWAY . . . memorializes a series of Indian trails that became a wilderness roadway between Natchez and Nashville, and during 1800-1830 successively a post road and highway binding the Old southwest to the Union. Administered by the National Park Service U. S. Department of Interior.
